What makes a good photo to animate?
Use a sharp, well-lit image with one clear subject and some room around it. A soft, noisy, or heavily cropped source gives the model less detail to work with, so choose a photo you have the right to animate.
Is this different from a slideshow with pan and zoom?
Yes. A slideshow moves a camera over a frozen image. Here the photo becomes the first frame and the following frames are generated, so steam can rise, hair can drift, or light can shift within the scene.
Will faces and small details stay the same?
Small motion usually helps the model stay close to the source frame. Fine text, logos, hands, and faces can still change or shimmer, especially when you ask for a large turn, walk, or expression change. Keep the requested movement simple and review the result.
